• Grands Formats Jam Session from 5 to 6.30pm led by Pierre-Antoine Chaffangeon (piano), Thomas Julienne (double bass) and Tom Peyron (drums)
• Concert from 8.30pm to 10p.m at the Médiathèque Musicale de Paris (MMP): Jazz Station Big Band (BE) invites the Clasijazz Big Band with conductor Daahoud Salim and trumpeter Jose Carlos Hernandez, and the Tower Jazz Composers Orchestra with conductor Piero Bittolo Bon and tenor saxophonist Filippo Orefice.

• Panel from 3.30pm to 5.30pm: “Territorial, national and European circulation of independent jazz and improvised music artistic teams”
  In a context of adaptation to the consequences of present and past crises, the diffusion of artistic proposals is, more than ever, a crucial issue, for artistic teams as much as for the promoters themselves. What’s more, the difficulty of exporting to a wider area is all the greater for larger ensembles. Independent players in jazz and improvised music have a role to play, each in their own right and in cooperation with others, in responding to this problem. The tools they are inventing are all experiments capable of giving new vitality to the sector.Speakers :

Masterclass : 15 December, 2-5pm at the Conservatoire de Paris (CRR)

CRR de Paris is joining forces with Grands Formats to organise a masterclass led by guest conductors Daahoud Salim of the Clasijazz Big Band and Piero Bittolo Bon of the Tower Jazz Composers Orchestra.

As part of the Rentrée Grands Formats 2023 and in partnership with the CRR de Paris. Masterclass only for Conservatoire students.

Grands Formats 20th anniversary cocktail party

Grands Formats is organising an anniversary cocktail party on 16 December at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique prior to the concerts, to which its French and European partners and members are invited.
