The FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA is nominated for the German Jazz Prize 2025 in the category « Large Ensemble of the Year » ! The decision will take place live  June 13th at Cologne/E-Werk. Cross fingers!

For the FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA, 2025 is the year of a new departure – a “right now!” in difficult local and global political times. In addition they will invite the young and brilliant vibraphonist/percussionist Evi Filippou for the upcoming tour in fall.

Caroline Thon and Christina Fuchs are currently writing new music for this exciting encounter, which will be going on tour in NRW and Southern Germany in November 2025.
To round off the year, the FUCHSTHONE ORCHESTRA is set to go into the studio with this program and Evi Filippou for their 2nd album, which will be released in 2026.
