An off-beat french ensemble of 18 composers and improvisers.

Influences from jazz, pop, folk and contemporary classical music combine in original arrangements and compositions – developed using the Soundpainting’s collective improvisation techniques.
Nourished by the interplay of diverse musical ideas, the group also
look wider afield for inspiration: collaborating with theatre, movie and « nouveau cirque » to create unique interdisciplinary performances. Encounters and art reach are the band’s focuses.
On tour : “Après Z”, an improvised journey through their current repertoire inspired by the venue ; “Esquif”, created with two circus compagnies, blurring the lines between the acrobats and the musicians.
