Imagine a horde of humans coming from who-knows-where. From the future, from the past, from a parallel world, impossible to know. They arrive there, in front of your eyes, equipped with wind instruments, percussions and strange pipes called ondulophones. They progress against the current, free, in perpetual motion, out of time. Their place is in the wind. Without wind, no breath, no music. Once the wind is up, they become one and the whole orchestra vibrates together. Here you are: two plungers, two sliders, four birds, two pillars and three scrapers. A total of thirteen musicians who breathe a crazy and compact energy.

Freely inspired by the universe of the novel La Horde du Contrevent by Alain Damasio, the Fanfare du Contrevent navigates between rock, trip-hop, jazz and electro. The triskaïdecatet shakes up the codes of the fanfare and proposes a powerful, mutant and bewitching music.
